On February 19, in response to the initiative of the All-China Patent Agents Association to promote high-quality development in the industry and to thoroughly implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's speech at the private enterprises symposium, representatives of the Zhejiang Patent Agents Association visited Zhejiang Yongding Law Firm to hold a series of symposiums on "Promoting High-Quality Development of the Patent Agency Industry."

Vice President Pei Jinhua of the Provincial Patent Agents Association conveyed and studied the speech spirit of President He Hua, emphasizing promoting high-quality development from the perspective of rescuing the industry and resolutely resisting all illegal and irregular acts such as agency of abnormal patent applications. The requirements are: 1. Accurately meet the demands of development entities and implement the meeting spirit; 2. Improve the overall quality of the team and strengthen professional training; 3. Self-discipline, from small to large, to promote industry development; 4. Raise awareness, clarify positioning, and enhance service functions. Starting from the quality and content of patent agency services, summarize experiences in line with association requirements and promote them nationwide to strive for building a sound patent agency market order and promoting high-quality industry development.

Mao Aidong, Deputy Director of the Intellectual Property Professional Committee of the Provincial Lawyers Association, read the "Initiative for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Industry," pointing out the need to enhance the honor of patent practitioners and expressing hope to promote high-quality development of the industry.

Subsequently, Lu Yongqiang, Director of Zhejiang Yongding Law Firm, on behalf of the institution, made a commitment oath, and relevant participants signed the "Commitment Letter for High-Quality Development of the Patent Agency Industry."

After the oath ceremony, the Industry Self-discipline and Rights Protection Committee of the Zhejiang Patent Agents Association reported on the work of 2024 and discussed, formulated, and deployed the key work plan for 2025 of the Self-discipline and Rights Protection Committee.
